Smoke Damage to Dentist Office in Sacramento

1/27/2022 (Permalink)

Fire damage and smoke damage can affect a structure either directly or indirectly. For this recent customer in Sacramento, their dental office was affected by smoke damage due to a fire that happened to a restaurant next door. SERVPRO of East Sacramento / West Arden Arcade provides the initial call to customers to schedule for an assessment of the damages. Upon inspecting the initial smoke loss, our estimator assessed the walls using a dry chemical sponge which gathers soot to determine the severity of the damages. Our technician also assesses the smell throughout the building during inspection. After inspection, SERVPRO puts together an estimate either directly to the customer or a preliminary estimate to the insurance for all the work that needs to be performed to get the structure to its preloss state.

Our services for this dental office included structure cleaning, equipment placement to eliminate the odor throughout the building, and deeming contents salvageable or unsalvageable. In addition, the dental office had a large number of client files and medical equipment that needed attention and ozone to remove the smoke odor. With this request from the customer, we provided a revised estimate for additional services. SERVPRO of East Sacramento / West Arden Arcade will communicate any changes to our customers prior to performing any work.

Whether you have fire damage or smoke damage to your commercial property, give SERVPRO of East Sacramento / West Arden Arcade a call to assess the damages. We are available at 916-285-7257 for emergency services, to schedule an initial inspection, or answer any questions or concerns regarding the process.
